Amazon Prime’s upcoming TV series adaptation of the long-running video game franchise Conflict The series has added Kyle MacLachlan, Zelia Mendes-Jones, and Aaron Moten to its cast as regulars.
To Diversity, the newly announced trio will star alongside previously announced cast members Ella Purnell and Walton Goggins. Like previous casting announcements for the project, exact details on who each of the actors will be are currently being kept under wraps.
MacLachlan is perhaps best known for his work with director David Lynch on projects including twin Peaks, DuneAnd blue Velvet, Mendes-Jones has a recurring role in Amazon’s second season wheel of time And next to be seen in a Netflix feature Holocaust With Tom Hardy, Forrest Whitaker and Timothy Olyphant. While Moten most recently appeared in the feature Father Stu Will next appear in Apple film with Mark Wahlberg Freedom With Will Smith.
Originally launched in 1997, Conflict is a post-apocalyptic RPG game a few centuries after a disastrous nuclear war leaves Earth a barren wasteland, in which the remains of mankind live in vast underground Fallout shelters known as Vaults.
Geneva will serve as executive producers and co-showrunners on Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner Conflict, done by Jodi Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy will also executive produce with Athena Wickham through their Kilter Films banner, with Nolan directing the first episode of the series. Todd Howard of Bethesda Game Studios and James Altman of Bethesda Softworks will also serve as executive producers. Amazon Studios and Kilter Films are set to produce in collaboration with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks.
