Warner Bros. Animation has released the first trailer for its DC film Batman and Superman: Battle of Super Sons, Watch the trailer below…
The film will follow the first meeting between Superman and Batman’s respective sons Jonathan Kent and Damien Wayne. Jonathan only learns that his father Clark Kent and Superman are one and the same and that he has inherited some of Superman’s Kryptonian abilities. Now he and Damien, who are working alongside Batman as the new Robin, are forced to save their loved ones and the world from an alien threat.
Unlike many DC animated films, Batman and Superman: Battle of Super Sons Other projects are computer-animated compared to traditional 2D animation in the past. The official summary reads:
Ahhhhh, for being young… and charged with saving the world from impending doom! That’s the burden of 11-year-old Jonathan Kent and reluctant young sidekick Damien Wayne in this brand new DC animated movie. On his birthday, Jonathan Kent learns that his father is Superman and that he has secret superpowers of his own! He also meets Damien, the legendary Dark Knight and current Boy Wonder. But when the two boys are forced to team up to protect their loved ones from a hostile alien force, will they become the Super Sons they are destined to be?
