According to the police, the accused Mahantesh Shirur and Manjunath Marewad are former workers of ‘Saral Vastu’ run by Chandrashekhar Guruji who were apprehended while attempting to flee in a car with the assistance of Belgaum Police.
The two assailants who stabbed Vastu expert Chandrashekhar Angadi, also known as Chandrashekhar Guruji, to death at a hotel in Hubballi on Tuesday have been apprehended by Karnataka Police.
The two suspects were apprehended by police in Ramdurg while attempting to flee.

Chandrashekhar Guruji had been residing at a hotel in Hubballi for the past four days, according to police. Two persons came to the hotel to meet him on Tuesday and summoned him to the lobby. The assailants attacked Chandrashekhar Guruji numerous times and fled as soon as he entered the lobby. He was transported to KIMS Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A case has been filed at the Vidyanagar police station.
