Dead woman found jailed along with her second husband, first husband for her murder

A shocking incident unfolds where a woman who was supposedly dead long back is found alive. She was living happily with her second husband while her first husband served 18 months in prison for her murder.

According to the information, the woman has been taken into custody and the police have started a detailed investigation. The name of the girl is Aarti Devi. Her first husband Sonu Saini has spent 18 months in jail, while her friend Gopal Saini, 30, was jailed for nine months for ‘murdering’ her. Both are out on bail and the woman is now found alive. In 2015, Aarti went missing from her rented house in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh. The unidentified body of a woman, which the father claimed to be his missing daughter, lands the suspects in jail.

The woman’s husband and his friend worked at a local eatery. He was booked for the murder of the woman in 2016 following a complaint by the woman’s father at the Vrindavan police station. The policemen probing the case were also given a reward of Rs 15,000 for nabbing the two men.

According to the police officer, “Sonu Saini met Aarti Devi when she had gone to Mehandipur Balaji temple on the border of Karauli and Dausa districts of Rajasthan with her father Suraj Prakash Gupta. They had a court marriage in 2015 without informing their father, who lodged the complaint. In March 2016, the charge of murder was added to the FIR, against the three named accused and Sonu and Gopal were arrested. He was later granted bail by the Allahabad High Court.

After six years of cases, Sonu and Gopal, who was found guilty of murdering the woman, managed to track her down. He has informed the Mathura police. After this the woman was taken into custody. However, by now her first husband and his friend have already served months in prison for a crime they never committed.
