The Jammu and Kashmir government on Saturday posted IPS officer Sara Rizvi as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Administration at the Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters. The home department of the state has issued a notification regarding this.
As per the notification, ‘Sara Rizvi, IPS (RR:2008) is posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (Administration), Police Headquarters, J&K with immediate effect.’ Officer Rizvi (Gujarat, 2008) has been given inter-cadre deputation from Gujarat cadre to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir earlier this month.
