According to sources, the CBI searched seven places on Tuesday in Jammu, Pathankot, Rewari, and Karnal in relation to the Jammu and Kashmir police sub-inspector recruitment fraud.
The areas searched concern: Jammu: Kashmir Singh, a CRPF Constable, and Vikas Sharma, an IRP Constable with the J&K Police.
Atul Kumar, a CRPF Constable, and Tarsem Lal, a Private, are in Pathankot.
Surender Singh, a CRPF soldier, and Yatin Yadav were in Rewari.

On August 3, the CBI took over the case investigation at the request of the Jammu and Kashmir government.
According to them, the issue relates to the leak of the exam questions used by the Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board to fill 1,200 sub-inspector positions.
A total of about Rs 61.79 lakh in cash has been recovered.
During the investigation, it was discovered that the accused Yatin Yadav, who is currently in judicial custody, allegedly leaked the question paper with the assistance of a printing press employee.
