Appearing at the 6th Annual Women’s Convention at the Entertainment Summit in Los Angeles, Feig was discussing the female stars of her adaptation of Soman Chanani’s book series, during which the filmmaker revealed that: “And in fact, we just got to play the narrator. Cate Blanchett has got in form, so we’re very excited about it. It hasn’t really been announced yet — it’s out there.”
