The weatherman on Friday forecast moderate rain/thundershowers with hail at some places and snowfall in high altitude areas during May 16-18 in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Today, the weather is likely to be mainly clear to partly cloudy, generally cloudy and windy in the afternoon. An official of the Meteorological Department said that similar weather is likely to continue till 16th.
“Thereafter, widespread moderate rain/thundershower with hail at some places over Jammu and Kashmir and snowfall in higher reaches with a probability of 70% during 16 (Evening)-18th,” he said. They said.
Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of 14.1 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam 7.3 and Gulmarg 7 degrees Celsius today.
