Disney+’s third entry in dead body film franchise, zombies 3, tosses aliens into the creature mix along with returning zombies and werewolves. The new trailer shows the Seabrook High monsters trying to figure out what these new invaders are doing on their turf.
The official trailer came with a poster for the upcoming new addition to the music-driven franchise. zombies 3 Set to debut only on Disney+ on July 15, 2022, followed by a release on August 12 on Disney Channel.
Paul Hoen directs, with Light, Hoen, Raso and Susan Farwell executive producing, from a screenplay by David Light and Joseph Raso.
Zombies 3 Plot and Character Details:
It’s Jade and Edison’s final year at Seabrook and things are better than ever. The city has eventually accepted the demons as part of Seabrook and has become a safe haven for demons and humans alike. Zedd is on the verge of receiving a football scholarship and becoming the first zombie to attend college (and he’s excited to join Edison who has already been admitted). Edison is excited to mark the opening of the city’s brand new “Cheer Pavilion” by inviting cheer teams from around the world to compete in the “International Cheer-Off”.
However, the city is puzzled by the arrival of a new group of intergalactic outsiders – the aliens, who appear to compete in the cheer-off. Although they reluctantly allow the aliens to stay for the competition – Seabrook’s monsters and humans become suspicious when they learn that the aliens may be looking for more than a friendly competition.
- ZED (Milo Mannheim) – a charismatic zombie and Edison’s lover. He is accepting that things have changed for the better at Seabrook High and is hoping to earn a football scholarship as the first zombie to attend Mountain College.
- Addison (Meg Donnelly) – A determined cheerleader and Jade’s girlfriend who believes everyone should be treated equally and with kindness. She has an internal struggle to know who she really is and where she comes from.
- BUCKY (Trevor Tordjman) — Seabrook High has an always-over-confident student body president who insists on thwarting anyone who can steal his glory. He is Edison’s cousin and is suspicious of people who are different.
- Eliza (Kylie Russell) – Jade’s tech-savvy best friend and voice of voice. He is an activist and a rebel at heart.
- BREE (Carla Jeffery) – A bubbly cheerleader at Seabrook High and Edison’s best friend.
- Bonzo (James Godfrey) – Jade and Eliza’s best friend and Bree’s lover, he is a Renaissance zombie who loves music and the arts and has a heart of gold.
- WILLA (Chandler Kinney) – The leader of the werewolves and sister of Wyatt. She is strong, fierce and protective of her pack.
- WYATT (Pierce Joza) – A kind-hearted werewolf who is caring for a crush on Eliza despite their physical distance.
- WYNTER (Ariel Martin) – Winter breaks out of the werewolf pack and serves as Villa’s best friend. She is also a powerful member of the Seabrook High football team.
- A-Spain (Terry Hu) – A super-intelligent, telepathic alien who, upon arrival on Earth, notices an unusual feeling entering his bloodstream: love.
- A-Li (Kyra Tantao) – Also super-intelligent and telepathic, the opinionated A-Li has a more profound outlook on life that her fellow supernatural beings.
